2 mins to fill inThe car gets a thorough two-bucket hand wash followed by clay bar treatment to strip out bonded contaminants like iron particles, tar, and industrial fallout. This is non-negotiable, ceramic coating must go onto a chemically clean surface or it won't bond properly.
45 to 90 minsEvery panel is inspected under dedicated lighting to identify swirl marks, light scratches, and surface defects. Depending on the package, paint correction is carried out at this stage so the coating locks in a finish worth protecting, not the flaws underneath it.
1 to 4 hours depending on conditionPanels are wiped down with a panel prep solution to remove any remaining polish oils and residues. This step opens the pores of the clear coat and ensures the ceramic coating bonds at full strength rather than sitting on top of contamination.
30 to 45 minsThe coating is applied panel by panel using a dedicated applicator, levelled with a clean microfibre, and allowed to flash before buffing. Each panel is checked for high spots and uneven coverage before moving to the next. There is no rushing this step.
